General Information

Payment | Payment is due in full at time of enrollment. Due to demand and the quick nature of enrollment, online credit card purchases are the only method of payment.

Cancellations, Exchanges, and Refunds | Due to the high demand for class spaces, each sale will be considered final, and refunds are not issued for cancelling enrollment or missing a class. Enrollment is not transferable from student to student or class to class. Katy Robotics Academy reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, patrons will receive a full refund (minus processing fees).

Inclement Weather/Other Disaster | In the event of severe inclement weather or other uncontrollable disaster, we will make every effort to announce closure as quickly as possible. If a class is closed due to these reasons, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

Instructor Sickness | In the event your scheduled instructor has an emergency, a competent substitute instructor within the company will be provided for the class. If there is not another instructor available, class will be closed that day. Notification of this change or closure will be sent by email. If a class is closed due to instructor sickness, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

Age Requirements | Strict adherence to age is expected. Even if your child is gifted, we ask you to enroll him/her in the appropriate class. Because our program allows students to work at their own pace, your child should not feel out of place.

Observation | Parents are not allowed to stay in the classroom during class time as it is a distraction for their child and the instructors. To keep your children safe, we pay close attention to the door and do not allow anyone to enter during class.

Behavior Expectations | As this is an educational class, our instructors have the same expectations for your children as their teachers do in school. Inappropriate or unacceptable behavior will result in the student being asked not to return. Refunds will not be given.

Supervision | Safety is priority. Katy Robotics Academy operates in a classroom environment, and all students are supervised 100% of the time. Restroom breaks are taken in groups, and when there are multiple instructors present, students are escorted in groups of 3 or more.

Health Form | A completed and signed Katy Robotics Academy Health Record Form must be on file with us for your child to attend a summer class. You can download one and turn it in on the first day of summer class.

Medication Administering | Katy Robotics Academy is NOT responsible for administering medication to children. Consult a pediatrician about altering the child's dosage so that medication can be administered outside of class hours.

Allergy Action Plan | A completed and signed Allergy Action Plan must be submitted if you would like to keep epinephrine on campus for your child during a summer class. You may download one, have it signed by a doctor, attach your child's picture, and turn it in on the first day of class.

Waiver and Release of Liability | You must review and accept the Terms of Sale during checkout which includes the Waiver and Release of Liability information.
